Locomotive 406

Elle a été construite par CFD pour Speno en 1973 et utilisée sur des chantiers de voie normale du continent. Après mise à voie métrique, elle est arrivée en Corse en 1994. Elle est restée garée plusieurs années sans utilisation à Bastia à cause d'une incompatibilité technique de freinage avec les anciens wagons. Sa puissance est de 660 CV. En 2024 elle semble à l'abandon à Ponte Leccia.

It was built by CFD for Speno in 1973 and used on track works for normal gauge railways in continental zones. After adaptation to metric gauge, it arrived to Corsica in 1994. It was parked without use in Bastia for a long time because of the impossibility to used it with the old wagons (difference in the braking system). It as a power of 660 HP. In 2024, it is at Ponte Leccia and seems without use.
